Oh hello, again! I’m back with a second post, because it’s time for another Digit-al Dozen week! Told you that this week was going to be busy haha. I probably could have actually combined a few of my 31 Day Challenge looks with my Digit-al Dozen ones, but I’m not that organized and didn’t plan ahead…so, whoops. Anyways! Welcome to our throwback / recreating our first blog posts week. Let’s get to it! Here is what I used: Here’s the original nail art: Look at my little, old logo! Does anyone else remember when I use to blog under Hey, Darling Polish!? I can’t believe that I started blogging all the way back in 2013. It seems so long ago and yet, Polish Those Nails is really only three years old. Rebranding is kind of weird/tough, but I think it paid off in my favor! Anyways, here’s a link to my very first blog post if you’d like to check that out! Start by applying two coats of Darcy. Once that’s dry, sponge on the gradient with Darcy and Robyn. (I highly recommend using liquid latex for around your nails, because this one can get messy…whoops.) Add a layer of Fairy Dust over top. Then add the polka dots on using Amethyst and a dotting tool. Clean up. Finish with a coat of Time To Shine (press sample – review coming soon.) So, what do you guys think? Have I improved since the beginning days? Most of my first looks involved gradients and I rarely do gradients now, so it might not actually look like it haha. At least the photos are better!
